This is an important film not only for this year, but for years to come.
This film is hardly compelling and is, quite honestly, boring.
Who would have thought that in 2018, six films in, the series remains relevant and proves that the bar has been raised yet again?
I’ve been on this musical kick lately, and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again was just what I needed this summer.
With its play on social commentary and awareness of racial issues, this film doesn’t hold back.
I know what to expect: lots of explosions, cheesy one-liners, generic script and “The Rock” being … well, “The Rock.”
We’re thrown back to the beginning of the purge, where we hardly see the person in the poster and are served a script that doesn’t know what to do with itself after the first half-hour.
