Netflix has announced the date for the legendary Matt Groening‘s latest animated series, Disenchantment.
The streaming giant posted on Facebook to announce Groening’s series, which debuts on Aug. 17.
Since creating The Simpsons in 1989, the series has yet to stop in its tracks. But it is nice to Groening take on a new show, which has a similar art style to what we’ve seen from his previous shows (of course).
IMDB describes the show as such: “The medieval misadventures of a hard-drinking princess, her feisty elf, and her personal demon.”
The show will feature voices from Eric André, John DiMaggio, Nat Faxon and Abbi Jacobson, among others.
According to Den of Geek, the show will be two 10-episode seasons.

Please make more episodes and more seasons of disenchantment. The show is absolutely brilliant. It’s all my friends and I are wanting to watch.
