Tomb Raider is the best video game film to-date, but it has plenty of issues

When looking at video game films, there’s a standard set by previous films. The bar is set incredibly low thanks to the likes of Assassin’s Creed and Max Payne. With Tomb Raider, this film separated itself from the filler we’re used to seeing, and this is truly the best video game film to-date. But it isn’t without its issues — and there are plenty of ‘em.

Tomb Raider is rated PG-13, runs 1 hour and 58 minutes and swings into theaters on March 16, 2018.
