After over a month of speculation, Daniel Craig announced, Tuesday, that he will return for Bond 25.
On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Craig said he will return for the next Bond film, and that “this is it.” According to a reddit post by user recapmcghee, this will officially mark the longest era for any actor to play Bond, from 2006-2019. This exceeds Roger Moore’s 12-year run.
Craig said, “I couldn’t be happier,” when discussing his return.
Back on July 24, the release date of the currently untitled Bond 25 was also confirmed: Nov. 8, 2019.
Time to pony up, Bond fans. It’s about to be a wild ride.
