When you think Christopher Nolan, you envision a film that’ll tug at your heartstrings, call to your emotions and boggle your mind. When I exited my local IMAX theater after viewing Interstellar, nobody could come to the same conclusion about how Matthew McConaughey got lost in the alternate reality beyond the bookshelves. However, no genius is without faults, and Nolan has made a couple of films better than the others. Here’s my list of what I’ve seen from the 46-year-old director, and where each film stands against one another ahead of Dunkirk‘s release.
