For fans who were left sour after the news of Netflix abruptly cancelling its well-received series Sense8, the show confirmed it won’t leave fans in limbo. A two-hour series finale episode is scheduled to release on Netflix.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sense8 announced on their official Twitter, Thursday, that the special is coming via a heartfelt letter by co-creator Lana Wachowski.
Netflix shared the letter, as well, which all but confirmed many fans’ wishes. A Netflix spokesperson told THR, “After seeing that the cancellation was a total cluster, we decided to give Sense8 fans the ending they totally deserve.”
This news comes after the series was axed on June 1st, which took many by surprise and angered plenty of viewers.
The two-hour finale is expected to air on Netflix sometime in 2018.
