Hold onto your dinosaurs, Jurassic Park fans! Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment have released the name of the previously untitled Jurassic World film. Now, fans can officially call the sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Fallen Kingdom will release almost three years after World, which remains the fourth-highest worldwide grossing film.

This sequel will most likely do great box office numbers, but hopefully director J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) and executive producers Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow will provide more than just the usual cheap popcorn entertainment with this installment. The return of actors Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are sure to attract wide audiences, so nobody’s worried on that front.
Here’s the newly released description of Fallen Kingdom:
With all of the wonder, adventure and thrills synonymous with one of the most popular and successful franchises in cinema history, this all-new motion-picture event sees the return of favorite characters and dinosaurs—along with new breeds more awe-inspiring and terrifying than ever before. Welcome to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom releases on June 22, 2018 (North America).
